The most common technique used for desalination water is through reverse osmosis, the best equipped desalination technology to supply fresh water in areas of water stress and promote a decarbonised economy.
IVICSA’s experience in desalination is all over the entire life cycle of the project: design, construction, start-up, and in the near future operation and maintenance of the desalination plant.
Reverse osmosis involves 6.5 times less CO₂ emissions than conventional desalination technologies in the Middle East and Africa. As technology evolves and optimizes the efficiency and performance of desalination plants, the number of people provided with fresh water increases.
